The reputation is well earned. Bill Utz began building Marylanders homes more than 50 years ago and decided he was going to do things differently. He began with the concept that getting to know the homeowners and the way they lived was imperative. Only then could he deliver a home worthy of the trust that had been placed in him. As veteran and a former air force pilot, and with a family of his own, Bill had already developed the skills of integrity, hard work, and attention to detail that would lead to his success building homes.
Those critical skills were also instilled in his son Todd . has been working in construction for more than three decades and by working with by his father’s side Todd has been able to carry on the family tradition of excellence and personal attention. He still meets with the homeowners to ensure that their brand new Utz Enterprises home is all they had dreamt.

Our House On Your Lot
Building a dream home is an exciting journey that often starts with finding the perfect location. Traditionally, individuals would select a pre-planned neighborhood or housing development. However, a rising trend in the real estate market is “Our House On Your Lot” building program, offering a unique approach to homeownership.
This allows individuals to bring their desired location/lot for constructing a custom-built home. If you do not have a lot, our real estate expert can help you navigate buying your lot of choice to build on. Once the lot parameters are established, the builder will present you with ready-made plans that can be customized to perfectly align with your visions. This program often provides cost transparency, so you have a clear understanding of the expenses associated with construction, allowing for better financial planning and budgeting. The timeframe from purchasing your lot (if not already owned) to moving in typically ranges from 6 to 12 months. This includes purchasing the lot, permits, site development and the construction of your home. We put the power of choice and customization in the hands of the prospective homeowners.
Financing Option
A construction-to-permanent loan is a financial arrangement that combines the financing for construction of a new home with a long-term mortgage. This type of loan is structured to cover both the building phase and the eventual permanent financing of the completed home. Over the years we have established many relationships with lenders and may offer recommendations for preferred lenders if you wish

Home Warranty
All of Utz Enterprises’ homes come with a Quality Builders Warranty of 1/2/10 yr. coverages. (Subject to change per the Quality Builders Warranty Program)
